Joining NANRO Next as a patron, Kim Yo-Han is Chairman of KAIPER Group, which he launched in 2025 by consolidating four IT and data companies he had built — SCG Solutions, SCG Lab, SCG Grid, and Zubix — into a single group, following more than a decade of operating experience at Seoul City Gas. Alongside the group's flagship energy platform GasApp — 3.2 million paying users across 17 utility partners in Korea — he is driving AI data center equipment distribution as a core new business. The name KAIPER — meaning "a joyful leap" — captures how he intends to meet the data- and AI-driven next era of energy.
He is candid that he is not, by his own reckoning, a food-industry insider or a self-styled foodie. What drew him to NANRO Next was something else: a rare community of leading experts giving their time, experience, and networks without agenda. Supporting chefs, in his view, has the shape of angel investing — the reward is in meeting talent early and watching it grow — and that is the spirit in which he joined the program.
